Hew Brown

I’m Hew Brown, a photographer and cinematographer specializing in sports, outdoor adventure, and documentary and narrative filmmaking. With a background in film production, screenwriting, and journalism, I create work centered on the athletes and environments that shape a team's, event's, or brand's identity. My assignments have taken me across the Midwest, Mountain West, Colorado, and Alaska, producing imagery for Major League Baseball, MLS NEXT Pro, the USL Championship, Athletes in Action, the University of New Mexico, Ashland University, and the National Auto Sport Association. My recent work includes covering Colorado Rapids 2 and documenting ultrarunner and cyclist Rob Miller during a 100-mile race in Steamboat Springs, alongside projects involving climbing, mountaineering, skiing, cycling, and long-distance running. I am available for photography and film assignments nationwide.
